We have busy lives and time is precious. Gary recognises this and to make your life easier, he delivers yoga at your work/business/college. Yoga and meditation can help reduce stress, improve focus and concentration, and decision making. See how it works – see details below.
Would you like to have yoga or stress reduction classes during your lunch break, or after work, at your place of work?
Yoga helps increase energy levels, concentration, strength and mobility plus it helps to improve our health and sense of well-being.
Yoga helps to reduce stress, tiredness, lethargy and anxiety, in other words, yoga helps to get rid of what we do not need in our life!
Stress has consistently been one of the most commonly reported types of work-related illness cited in the national Labour Force Survey (LFS) conducted by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Work-related stress caused workers in Great Britain to lose 10.4 million working days in 2011/12 based on the LFS data (source: the Health & Safety Executive). These days more and more companies realise that spending some money on the well-being of their staff can help improve productivity and efficiency. A government report has concluded that for every £1 invested in well-being you can expect a £2.50 worth of gained productivity and efficiency.

How it works in a work setting
Classes can be weekly, monthly, periodic or one-off (eg: for a conference or team building/training or well-being programme).
A taster session can be arranged.
Covers all aspects of yoga exercises, breathing techniques and meditation. Yoga helps fitness as well as reducing stress. Gary provides yoga mats, belts and blocks. Dress for exercises.
Focus is on breathing techniques and meditation, with light gentle exercise. Work clothes can be worn and chairs can be used (in a meeting/conference room).
Where can the class take place?
A room suitable for practice provided for use by the company – numbers and capacity depends upon size of room available; a conference or meeting room make a perfect space.
There are various ways to make classes possible – some companies pay my fee (making it freely avaiable to staff); or subsidised where company pays part of my fee with staff paying a reduced price, or staff pay me directly (with company offering staff use of space). Contact Gary to discuss details
