Yoga classes for young children offer plenty of benefits: it introduces them to exercise, it also helps them to relax and concentrate, and helps boost their self-esteem and confidence as yoga is not competitive.
Yoga offers children the opportunity to learn something, at a young age, which adults come to and say to themselves, “why didn’t I learn yoga this earlier in my life?”
Regular classes can be part of the after-school clubs or it can be a one-off class, part of a special school programme in the day.
